Standup, posts and stories

Draft your standup update from the sessions on this machine, turn a session into a social post, and read the team's story chapters.

Claude Code

Where: Top bar→🙋

Griddler drafts two things from the work in your panes: your morning standup update, and a social post about a session. Neither needs sign-in, and nothing is posted for you. Both run through Claude Code, on your own usage.

Draft your standup

Click 🙋 in the top bar

The Standup draft — "Your Updates" dialog opens with your last draft, if you have one. Nothing runs until you click Generate.

Pick the window and click Generate

Today, Since yesterday or Last 3 days. Griddler reads every Claude Code and Codex session on this machine from that window, across all your logins.

Edit, then click Copy markdown

The draft is bullet points under "Your Updates". Change anything in Draft (edit before copying), then paste it where your team posts standups.

You can close the dialog while it works. The 🙋 button shows … while it runs, ● when the draft is ready, and ! if it failed. You also get a Standup draft ready notification. When it's done the dialog says how many sessions had something worth reporting, for example Done — 6 of 9 sessions had substance. Edit away.

Draft a post about a session

Click 📮 in a pane's toolbar. The Post this dialog drafts from that pane's session.

ShapeWhat you get
X post150–280 characters, from the last response
X long600–1500 characters, from the whole session. Needs X Premium to post.
X thread4–6 linked posts, from the whole session
LinkedIn600–1300 characters, from the whole session

Pick a voice from the list and click Draft. Edit the text in Draft (edit freely).

  • Open in X or Open in LinkedIn copies the draft and opens the composer in your default browser, already filled in. You need to be signed in to X or LinkedIn in that browser. You post it yourself.
  • For a thread, parts are separated by a line containing only ---. The button walks you through it: Open part 1 of N, then Copy part 2 of N and so on, one reply at a time.
  • Copy copies the draft without opening anything.

If the pane has just started, you see Session not ready yet. Wait for the first response and try again.

Set your posting voice

Settings→Posting voice. Pick a preset in Voice, or write your own in the box and choose Custom — yours.

Learn mine reads how you write across your recent sessions and drafts your Custom voice from it, in about 30 seconds. It picks up style only, never what you worked on.

Read the team's stories

Needs sign-in

Click the floating 🧠 button, then 📖 Stories. Each row is a chapter: Ch. N, its title and subtitle. Click one to open it in a web cell in a free tile. The chapter site asks you to sign in with your River Logic account the first time.

When a new chapter is published, you get a notification: A new chapter is up. Turn it off in Settings→Notifications→New story chapter.

Limits

  • A standup reads up to 40 sessions. If there were more, the dialog says how many it skipped.
  • The standup only sees sessions on this machine.
  • X long can't be posted from a free X account.
