Where: 🧠 (bottom right)β†’πŸ” Search

Search looks through the text of every Claude Code and Codex session on this computer, in every folder and every account. Use it when you remember what you talked about but not where.

Find a session

  1. Press Ctrl+K (⌘+K on macOS), or click 🧠 and then πŸ”.
  2. Type a word or phrase in Search all sessions… and press Enter.
  3. Click a result.

Each result shows the agent, the folder and time, and the session's name or a snippet. Newest come first. When both agents have matches, All, Claude, and Codex chips filter the list.

The session resumes in the first empty tile of the current tab. If the tab is full, Griddler adds a full-width row for it. It starts on the agent's default model; change that from the pane's model dropdown (The pane toolbar).

Name your sessions with the pane's title box and πŸ’Ύ. Named sessions are far easier to spot in results.

Use the assistant

🧠 sits in the bottom-right corner. Click it to fan out its entries:

  • Drag 🧠 anywhere in the window. It stays where you put it.
  • The panel docks to the side of the grid, which shrinks to make room. β—« moves it to the other side.
  • Esc or βœ• closes the panel. Griddler reopens the last panel you had open at the next launch.

Limits

  • Up to 30 results per search.
  • Sessions whose folder no longer exists are left out.
  • Codex sessions are left out when Codex is hidden on this computer; see Accounts and usage.
  • To browse one folder's sessions by date instead, use Session in the launcher.
