What Griddler does without your River Logic account, what needs it, and why a button you expected isn't there.

Griddler works signed out. Signing in with your River Logic account adds the team features: mail, the Tavern, tasks, and the rest of Griddler Social. Signed out, those buttons are hidden, not broken.

Three other sign-ins
Your River Logic account is one of four separate sign-ins. Each has its own row in the Doctor.

Hints that mean "sign in"
When a feature needs your River Logic account, its message says so. Each of these means: sign in.
- sign in (Settings → Account) to join the tavern
- sign in (Settings → Account) to chat
- sign in (Settings → Account) to share images
- sign in to something (Settings → Account), for tasks, worries, directives, and Today
- Sign in first (Settings → Account) — peek runs on the service. (also for raids and co-op)
- The room is unreachable — sign in (Settings → Account).
- no image provider — sign in (Settings → Account) or configure a key
- Sign in to see meetings. on the Today panel's Meetings tile
Two others mean something different:
- can't reach the sign-in service — … You're still signed in and Griddler retries on its own. Nothing to do.
- your sign-in expired — sign in again to … Click Sign in again.
Sign in
Click Sign in in the top bar.
Finish in your browser with your @riverlogic.com account. The browser tab says Griddler login OK — close this tab.
Open a new pane for any agent that needs the team tools. Panes opened before you signed in don't get them.
Mail, ✅ Tasks, 😟 worries, and the 🍺 Tavern appear right away. Details, sign-out, and what happens when a sign-in expires are on Griddler Social.
Limits
- Only @riverlogic.com accounts work. Another account can finish the browser step, but team features stay empty.
- Losing your network connection doesn't sign you out. Settings shows (offline — will reconnect).
